Dear Stockholm AI Community,
Summer in Sweden usually means news drought and industry slowdown, but the AI landscape is running hot! Peek in to see what’s been happening during the summer and what’s coming up.
We have two strong events planned for September, we’re starting out swinging with a mega event with Ericsson, Anthropic, and Mistral AI on Building Agentic AI and Autonomy at a Global scale. Just the week after, we have the second event of the season with Insight Genie on AI in behavioral science.
In local news, Lovable raised 200 MUSD to continue its pursuit of the last piece of software. Wallenberg Investments, Ericsson, AstraZeneca, SAAB, and SEB have combined investments into Sferical AI, which will provide a local cluster of Nvidia GPUs to offer sovereign AI compute to the participating companies

Loveable raises 200MUSD
Swedish vibe coding frontrunner Loveable raises a European record-breaking series A with 200MUSD at a valuation of 1,8 BUSD. Their journey has been nothing short of astronomical. The company started in 2023, and since the product launch, it took them only 8 months to reach 100 MUSD ARR, making them the fastest company in history to reach that milestone.

Before summer, it was revealed that Sweden’s AstraZeneca, Ericsson, Saab, SEB, and Wallenberg Investments have joined up to invest in a supercomputer centre for AI. We now have more information: The company will be called Sferical, and the planned cluster will consist of two NVIDIA DGX SuperPODs with 1,152 advanced NVIDIA DGX GB300 GPUs. As previously stated, the purpose is to accelerate AI adoption across involved companies. The company will also support the broader Swedish business community with skills enhancements. Jenny Nordlöw assumes the role of CEO, and Anders Ynnerman is appointed Executive Chairman of Sferical AI.
